Request for Proposal: (Development of The Tuition Fees Adjustment Model) – NCHE RFP 001/2016

NCHEThe National Council for Higher Education (NCHE) is a statutory body established in terms of the Higher Education Act, 2003 (No. 26 of 2003). This Act mandates NCHE to operate at a national level and to, among others, promote the establishment of a coordinated higher education system; access for students to higher education institutions; quality assurance in higher education; and the allocation of funds to public Higher Education Institutions.

NCHE is calling for “Request for Proposal” from an individual consultant/consultancy team to develop the Tuition Fees Model based on a prescribed design. This will entail the development and maintenance of a standardised electronic database and archiving system for storage, preservation, analysis, visualisation and reporting, sharing, and publishing of Tuition Fees for the different higher education institutions.

This assignment will require a high level of technical competence in computer programming; database design and administration, as well as information security.
