The 74th Association of African Universities Governing Board Meeting was successfully held in Accra Ghana at the Airside Hotel from 27-28 June 2016.
The Governing Board comprises the President of the Association, three Vice-Presidents, 11 other executive heads of member institutions elected at the General Conference to represent the five sub-regions of Africa and the Secretary-General. The Board implements the decisions of the General Conference. The AAU Governing Board meets annually. Please click here to see the list of AAU Governing Board Members.
The Governing Board decided that the 14th AAU General Conference and the AAU Golden Jubilee celebrations would be held in Ghana from 5-8 June 2017.
