January 16, 2018Association of African Universities to Establish Regional Offices in all Five Regions of Africa
January 19, 2018eLearnAfrica, Africa’s leading educational technology company, and the Association of African Universities (AAU) have agreed to deepen their relationship for 2018. eLearnAfrica will continue to support the AAU and its 380 member universities in 46 countries while providing additional services and solutions.
This commitment is the product of a series of consultations with member universities to identify key needs and the best solutions for improving and diversifying elearning opportunities for students throughout the continent. This way, the universities can benefit from eLearnAfrica’s variety of design and teaching tools for elearning while continuing to provide on-campus courses.
eLearnAfrica and the AAU are committed to supporting AAU member universities with content development, program design, and providing dual-granted degrees through partnerships with highly regarded foreign universities. This way, students in Africa can complete an online program and receive a degree from their local university and the US or European university. This greatly expands the career opportunities of the student while supporting the participation of African universities in world-class programs.
By working with eLearnAfrica, AAU universities can expand their reach by providing online, distance-learning opportunities to students everywhere, especially rural areas accessible with the mobile application.
