The Association of African Universities has applied for financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the ACE for Impact Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract [1]for Purchase of Official Vehicles.
The Association of African Universities now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the supply of one number 7-seater Cross Country Station Wagon.
Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding procedures as specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement of Goods, Works and Non-Consulting Services under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits & Grants by World Bank Borrowers July 2016 revised November 2017 and August 2018 (“Procurement Guidelines”), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Guidelines. In addition, please refer to paragraphs 1.6 and 1.7 setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest.]

[1] Substitute “contracts” where bids are called concurrently for multiple contracts. Add a new para. 3 and renumber paras 3 – 8 as follows: “Bidders may bid for one or several contracts, as further defined in the bidding document. Bidders wishing to offer discounts in case they are awarded more than one contract will be allowed to do so, provided those discounts are included in the Letter of Bid.”
