Making a Deeper Impact in African Higher Education Through Technology

February 1, 2022The Association of African Universities (AAU), in partnership with ICANN & AFRINIC is inviting Vice Chancellors, Rectors, Presidents and all heads of African Higher Education Institutions to a strategic meeting on National Research and Educational Networks in Africa. The Theme for this event is “African Union’s Continental Educational Strategy for Africa (CESA 16-25): the Role of the Research and Educational Networks in Africa”. The discussion will focus on how the research and education community in Africa can work to strengthen their NRENs, to enable them (NRENs) provide improved ICT services to support research, teaching and learning towards attaining the mission of CESA 16-25 and consequently Agenda 2063. Date: 21-22 February, 2022
Venue: Long View Suites, Nairobi, Kenya
Registration Fee: Six Hundred And Fifty Dollars ($650) per participant. The registration fee covers the cost of meeting, accommodation(full boarding 3-nights) and training materials. Participants will cover their costs of air travel or transportation and related allowances. Participants are encouraged to register before February 11, 2022 (those who need Visa should apply before February 8 to allow time for visa application processes to be completed).
