August 31, 2018The Association of African Universities (AAU) in collaboration with Zimbabwe Ezekiel Guti University (ZEGU) warmly invites you to a three-day training workshop on Scientific Writing from October 17 -19, 2018 at ZEGU Harare campus, Zimbabwe.
The workshop is tailor‐made for lecturers in Universities, Polytechnics and Teacher Colleges, MPhil and PhD candidates, Programme Managers/Officers of Non-governmental Organizations (NGOs), Monitoring and Evaluation Officers/Managers of NGOs and all whose responsibilities involve research supervision and report writing. The workshop is mainly practical-oriented and aims to provide structure, advice and motivation through writing a paper for publication or a report for important decision making. The exercises will focus specifically on report and publication writing and will be led by experienced scientific writing trainers. Participants are expected to work on their own papers/reports. Also, there will be a balance between plenary sessions, group discussions, individual writing time and one‐to‐one work with experienced editors.
After the workshop, participants can continue to work on their manuscripts/reports and send their draft for direct editorial feedback and publishing. Certificates of participation will be awarded.
