The Association of African Universities is calling for participants to their second Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Workshop. This 4 day introduction to Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning “face to face” workshop is targeting individuals who are new or already in the field of Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning or those who wish to formalize their existing understanding which has been developed through work based experience.

OBJECTIVES

By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:

1. Articulate the background and history of Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning in project management, public policy and development management
2. Describe the purpose of Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning and its role in evidence-based decision-making
3. Apply concepts, principles, processes and frameworks for Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning systems in African Institutions
4. Develop a system to collect, compile and use data for decision making
5. Use Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning tools for qualitative and quantitative data analysis

TARGET GROUP

Monitoring and Evaluation Officers, Project Managers, Project Officers, Project Assistants, Quality Assurance Officers, Administrators, Human Resources, Finance Officers and Heads of Departments from all Institutions.
