March 1, 2021The Association of African Universities in collaboration with the Pan African Chamber of Commerce and Industry, United Nations Economic Commission for Africa, various regional chambers of commerce, and the Wealth Masters Group is organizing an African Private Sector Summit dubbed, ” Righting the Wrongs of Doing Business in Africa”. The summit, which comes off from March 8 -12, 2021, is the first of a series of summits which considers issues relating to “Doing Business under the African Continental Free Trade Area”.
It is pivoted on the four key elements of the Free Trade area which will create the biggest economy, i.e – Natural Resources – Green energy adaption, tourism, organic farming; Human Resource – predominantly young population; Underdevelopment that creates a myriad of opportunities; and Diaspora readiness to invest in the continent.
This conference is designed to bring all key stakeholders to deliberate on these critical success factors with the view to coming up with agreements on an implementation plan, accountability structure and assessment mechanism for all adopted projects. Presenters and participants will be drawn from all sectors of society to ascertain comprehensive representation and wider transference of conference commitments.
