Call for Partnership: Develop an Online MBA Program with AAU-eLearnAfricaLMS

The AAU-eLearnAfricaLMS Project, a groundbreaking collaboration between the Association of African Universities (AAU) and eLearnAfrica, invites African universities to partner in developing innovative Online Master of Business Administration (MBA) programs. This initiative is designed to enhance online education across Africa by Designing, Developing, Delivering, and Deploying Learning Management Systems (LMS) and creating transformative academic experiences.

This opportunity is open to both AAU member and non-member universities, with the development costs fully funded by eLearnAfrica. 

 

Institutional Commitments

To ensure long-term impact and success, partner universities will be required to:

  1. Form a Leadership Team:
    • Appoint a lead team headed by the Vice-Chancellor, including: 
      • Dean of the relevant department.
      • Two faculty members.
      • Head of IT and eLearning.
      • Head of Public/International Relations.
      • Additional personnel as needed.
  2. Nominate Faculty for Development:
    • Identify 10 faculty members to participate in program development.
    • Appoint 3 faculty members to be trained as peer coaches.
  3. Enhance Teaching Practices:
    • Support lecturers in adopting innovative online teaching methods.
  4. Financial Investment:
    • Commit to covering local travel, accommodation, retreats, and IT equipment for program implementation.
  5. Appoint Project Leads:
    • Designate a Project Leader, an Academic Coordinator, and a Technical Coordinator.
