Call to Participate in the African Jobs Board’s Enhancing Human Capital Webinar – 4th Edition

The African Jobs Board at the Association of African Universities is inviting all stakeholders and partners of the association to participate in the 4th edition of the Jobs Board Enhancing Human Capital Webinar themed “Emerging HR Technologies, Best practices and their impact in academia and corporate institutions”.  This Webinar is scheduled for 22nd February 2023 at 10:30 GMT via zoom. The African Jobs Board (AJB) is a novel initiative by the Association of African Universities in partnership with Warwick Employment Group (WEG) and Education Sub-Sahara Africa (ESSA) aimed at enhancing the visibility of higher education jobs in Africa. The platform was developed to support the aspirations of government and Higher Education institutions to promote academic mobility between educational institutions across Africa as well as retaining academic talent within Africa.

For the past 2 years, the African Jobs Board in partnership with Warwick Employment Group (WEG) and Education Sub-Sahara Africa (ESSA), has explored avenues for global employment opportunities for students, institutions and providing career coaching and training programs to maximize their potential in the workplace and in job search.

Technology is essential to Human Resource like any other field in recent times, investment and effective utilization of technological tools enhances accuracy and efficiency of processes resulting in time saving and massive productivity.

The purpose of this webinar is to explore and identify best technological practices for essential HR processes and management. This edition seeks to widen the Knowledge of HR managers in technological advancement related to their careers.

Ultimately, this edition will be equipping HR managers or practitioners across the African continent on how to adopt technological practices for an effective and smooth HR management processes in academia and corporate institution. The objectives of the fourth edition will be.
