REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST
CONSULTING SERVICES – Firm Selection
The Association of African Universities (AAU) intends to apply part of its budgetary allocation towards payments under the contract for the engagement of an Outsourced Internal Audit Firm.
The services include the provision of independent, objective assurance and advisory services aimed at strengthening governance, risk management, and internal control processes across the Association.
The outsourced internal audit function will cover operational, financial, and compliance reviews of all AAU projects, programmes, and institutional activities, in line with best international practices, donor requirements, and applicable regulations.
The initial contract period will be one (1) year, renewable subject to satisfactory performance and continued need for services. Audits will be conducted semi-annually, each within a 15-working-day timeframe.
The AAU now invites eligible consulting firms to indicate their interest in providing the services.
Interested consulting firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.). Consulting firms may associate to enhance their qualifications.
A consulting firm will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the Public Procurement Act, 2003 (Act 663), as amended, of the Republic of Ghana and shall meet the following criteria:
- Certificate of Registration of Firm
- Valid Tax Clearance Certificate
- VAT Certificate
- Valid SSNIT Certificate
- Evidence of registration with Public Procurement Authority
- Relevant Experience of Firm
- Availability and Experience of relevant key staff
