  1. Dear Director AAU,

It is my hope that all is going on well at AAU.

I am an Associate Professor in Plant Taxonomy and currently lecturing at Kenyatta University, Department of Plant Sciences, Nairobi, Kenya.

This is to inquire whether your organization funds Sabbatical Vocations for the member universities – Kenyatta University is a member of AAU. I ask this because I am due to visit University of Rwanda, Department of Botany for a period of about six (6) months – one semester and a few months. Would this fall within your funding elements in your mandate?

    Yours sincerely,

    Prof. Paul Kamau Mbugua

  2. Thank you Prof. Mbugua for writing to us. Unfortunately, we do not have funds. We appreciate your request and hope you do have a successful sabbatical stay.

    Best regards.
