AAU spearheads efforts to improve research quality in Africa

August 30, 2017The Association of African Universities (AAU) runs the Management Development Workshop (MADEV) series to discuss topical African higher education issues and equips middle level university and HEI managers with appropriate skills and information to help them appreciate the environment and use available resources effectively to achieve organizational goals. Participants would have a better understanding of what it means to be a university manager within the changing context of higher education in Africa.
The AAU is organising the 7th MADEV workshop at Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire in September 18 – 21, 2017; and the 8th MADEV in Accra, Ghana October 24 -27, 2017.
The workshop will be held in English and French according to the respective workshop venue.
The AAU MADEV workshop will help address topical issues in Higher Education such as
Strategic Thinking and Management
New HE Delivery Modes: Distance education
Funding Higher Education: Trends and Innovations
University-Community Engagement for Development

Registration fee is US$500 and covers the workshop documents, lunch and tea/coffee breaks as well as a copy of conference proceedings. Late Registration = US$550
Registration to be discounted by 50% for the first 15 participants with special preference to Females in Higher Education.
