Invitation to participate in the Africa Education Jobs Board’s Enhancing Human Capital Webinar Series – 3rd Edition

The Africa Education Jobs Board (AEJB) is a novel initiative by the Association of African Universities in partnership with Warwick Employment Group (WEG) and Education Sub-Sahara Africa (ESSA) aimed at enhancing the visibility of higher education jobs in Africa. The platform was developed to support the aspirations of governments and Higher Education institutions to promote academic mobility between educational institutions across Africa, as well as retaining academic talent within Africa.

Over the past two years, partners of the Africa Education Jobs Board  have explored avenues for global employment opportunities for students and institutions,  and provided career coaching and training programmes to maximize their potential in the workplace and in job search.

This is critical, given that the direction an individual sets their career in today’s volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous world (VUCA) needs to be strengthened and strategically guided  to  actively reap the maximum benefit available throughout the entire career trajectory. The theme for the third edition of the Africa Education Jobs Board’s Enhancing Human Capital webinar series is “Less than 100% Qualified for a Job, Should I Apply? “.

Ultimately, this edition will be equipping job seekers across the African continent with skills on how to counter the trepidation of being rejected in their job search and embrace potential amazing opportunities whether they fully qualify or not. The objectives of this third edition of the webinar will be to:

  1. Educate job seekers on the best approaches to job search.
  2. Empower job seekers on the effective ways of building strong professional profiles.
  3. build job seeker confidence amidst daunting job requirements.

This event is scheduled for Wednesday 5th October 2022 at 10:30 GMT . The facilitator for this session will be –  Mr. David Ampofo -Nkrumah, a Global Talent Acquisition Consultant.

This webinar promises to be insightful and propelling to position job seekers to embrace potential opportunities whether or not they fully qualify.
