March 20, 2019Invitation to the 2019 Education Collaborative Conference & Workshop, organised by Ashesi University
10-14 June 2019, Peduase Valley Resort (Aburi) and Ashesi University(Berekuso), Ghana
Ashesi University will be hosting the third edition of the Education Collaborative Annual Workshop from 10-14 June 2019 on Strategizing for the biggest challenge of our time. This Workshop will cover topics in University Governance, Academic, and Non-academic Student Services.
Focus: The UN World Population Prospects estimates that by 2050 more than half of the world’s population growth will occur in Africa. The continent’s population is expected to double to 2.5billion, and over 60% of Africa’s population will be under age 25. With the increasing complexities of technology and globalization, now is the time to prepare for the pending population boom. Ashesi is inviting University Founders, Presidents, Provosts, Deans, Heads of Department, Academic Faculty, Teachers/Facilitators, Faculty Trainers, and Administrators from Higher Educational Institutions across Africa and the world to come and join the conversation on how African universities are preparing academic and non-academic systems for the 2050 challenge of a doubled population.
