Invitation to the Erasmus+ CBHE Virtual Fair

Invitation to the Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE) Virtual Fair (26-27 October 2021)

Erasmus+ is the EU’s programme to support education, training, youth and sport. It provides funding for programmes, projects and scholarships. Towards the end of October/early November the next general call will be published and will offer a series of actions open to universities in Africa. You will be informed about that when the call is published.

One of the actions, Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE), supports partnerships between universities in Europe and Africa to support the relevance, quality, modernisation and accessibility and of higher education as a driver of sustainable socio-economic development.

The Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE) Virtual Fair is an online event aiming to raise awareness on how results of Erasmus+ CBHE projects can improve the Higher Education sector in Partner countries.  It will take place on 26 and 27 October 2021.

Best practices and results achieved by CBHE projects funded in the period 2015-2018 will be showcased in the thematic sessions of the Virtual Fair.

Academics, university managers, students and national policy makers can be inspired by these successful examples to shape the next generation of CBHE projects.

The CBHE Fair’s different sessions offer the opportunity to listen to professors and academic managers who succeeded in improving teaching methodologies, expanding the educational offer of their HE Institutions and enhancing the governance efficiency.

During the two days, about 100 CBHE projects from all regions of the world, and from 65 different countries, will display their most relevant results in 28 dedicated sessions and in 16 training sessions.

There is the possibility to attend subject-specific sessions where results of projects in a specific field are presented and to attend cross-disciplinary sessions with achievements in topics as digitalisation, innovation management, soft skills.
