The Association of African Universities (AAU) Secretariat has the honour to extend an invitation to you to attend an Executive Briefing by Microsoft which will take place in partnership with the AAU on Monday, 26th of March 2018 at the new ultra-modern AAU Secretariat in Accra Ghana. This event is in line with our efforts to support our member universities connect and work effectively with industry and private sector. It is also a follow up to the Executive Educational Technology Forum that was held in November 2017 as part of the annual African University Day Celebrations.

AAU East Africa Regional Office launched in Sudan

The East Africa Regional Office for the Association of African Universities (AAU) was launched in Khartoum Sudan on the 14th March 2018. Other AAU regional offices will be launched in North Africa, Central Africa and Southern Africa. The main goal of the AAU East Africa Regional Office is to increase the impact of AAU activities in East Africa and maximize the benefits of AAU to the membership universities in East Africa.

Invitation to Academic Faculty: The 2018 Education Collaborative Annual Workshop

Ashesi University (one of the members of the Association of African Universities) is a pioneer in blending the liberal arts and sciences in Africa – and is also recognised across the world as a model for Higher Education on the African continent. The 2nd Education Collaborative Annual Workshop will be hosted by Ashesi University, in Berekuso, Ghana from 25-29 June 2018. The focus of this workshop will be on “Facilitating Inclusive Classrooms”. We are inviting Provosts, Heads of Department, Faculty, Teachers/Facilitators, and Faculty Trainers from Higher Educational Institutions across Africa and the world to come and learn how to: make learning relatable, make learning engaging and make learning relevant and current.
